About the Role
• Develop professional, technically competent reports and liaise with specialists and clients across diverse sectors using efficient practices. • Produce compelling proposals to secure new business and project opportunities. • Manage and deliver project work with robust financial oversight. • Assist in managing team resources and allocate appropriate project personnel. • Manage, motivate, mentor and develop professional staff. • Provide support throughout project delivery, including client liaison, contractors, sub‑consultants, public and statutory bodies, quality control and specialist management. • Deliver geotechnical, engineering geology and ground engineering projects, producing high‑technical reports. • Lead delivery teams effectively from project inception through construction on short to medium‑term projects. • Undertake and manage desk studies; design, procure and supervise ground investigations; review GI and geotechnical design reports per Eurocode 7 Part 1. • Utilise a wide range of geotechnical software for designing foundations, retaining walls, earthworks, slope stability and reinforced earth structures. • Critically evaluate drawings, calculations and reports produced by others with a proven track record. • Advance your development through training, mentoring and support for Chartership.

What You Bring
We are seeking a Principal‑grade Geotechnical Engineer for our Naas, Ireland office, with options for full‑time or part‑time employment. We encourage all suitably qualified candidates to apply, even if you don’t meet every single criterion, as we will consider how your experience aligns with this role and other opportunities within the team. • Demonstrate technical expertise in geotechnical engineering with a strong understanding of underlying principles. • Possess consultancy experience with solid commercial awareness and established client and contractor relationships. • Adapt flexibly to projects of any size, from minor tasks to large programmes. • Hold a Chartered professional qualification and significant post‑qualification experience. • Understand client requirements and influence contract specifications. • Exhibit excellent report‑writing and client liaison skills. • Maintain working knowledge of Eurocode 7 and related contracts and specifications.
