About the Role
Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this leader oversees a core team of salaried engineers and hourly associates while partnering deeply across the organization. The role is central to shaping the site’s future by deploying Regal Business System (RBS) continuous improvement methodologies, managing capital and non‑capital investment strategies, and driving high‑value improvements that unlock productivity and capacity. Key responsibilities include partnering with the EHS leader to maintain a safe, compliant work environment, and collaborating with the leadership team to define business objectives and a vision for future operational growth. The leader manages a robust RBS review process to select, scope, and prioritize initiatives such as policy deployment, Kaizens, and CI projects, and leads the implementation of capital and non‑capital cost‑savings plans aligned with the annual operating plan. Process improvement across the value stream is driven through lean concepts like 6S, single‑piece flow, visual management, and daily management techniques. • Lead salaried engineers and hourly staff, reporting to Plant Manager. • Deploy Regal Business System (RBS) continuous improvement methodologies. • Partner with EHS leader to ensure safety compliance and drive EHS metrics. • Manage capital and non‑capital investment strategies and cost‑savings plans. • Lead lean process improvements across the value stream (6S, flow, visual management). • Analyze SQDCG and financial metrics to develop impactful improvement strategies. • Coach and develop talent through the RBS tool champion program.

What You Bring
Professional qualifications require a bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field (or equivalent experience) and 5‑7 years of manufacturing experience, with a strong preference for demonstrated Kaizen leadership and time‑bound project execution. Candidates must be team‑oriented, influential, and possess critical thinking skills to identify problems and develop fact‑based solutions. Effective communication and coaching abilities are essential to engage all levels of the organization and embody Regal Rexnord’s values of integrity, responsibility, and continuous improvement. Preferred qualifications include Lean deployment experience or certifications, an advanced degree such as an MBA or MS Engineering, and PMP certification. Expertise in bearings or a similar industrial sector further enhances suitability for the role.
