About the Role
The role involves setting up and operating cell manufacturing and test equipment to produce final products. The associate inspects parts for quality, follows standard work and process control methods, and performs routine preventive maintenance on tools and equipment. They read and interpret process documents, follow detailed procedures, maintain records, assist in training new associates, and communicate production issues to the team. The associate reads diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine material requirements and assembly instructions. They select, align, and secure tooling and accessories on machines such as hydraulic presses, burnish/test machines, and assembly fixtures, entering settings, adjusting and calibrating equipment as needed. Production and operational data are recorded, quality checks performed, dimensions verified with measuring instruments, and the associate rotates through all tasks in the production process, working at various workstations to meet customer needs. They explain assembly procedures to other associates, maintain an orderly, safe, and clean workplace, participate in cell meetings and events, and may perform other duties as assigned. • Set up and operate cell manufacturing and test equipment to produce final products. • Inspect parts and perform quality checks using measuring instruments. • Perform routine preventive maintenance on tools and equipment. • Read and interpret process documents, diagrams, blueprints, and work orders. • Adjust, calibrate, and program equipment for assigned production orders. • Record production data and maintain required documentation. • Train new associates on standard processes, changeovers, and inspection. • Communicate production issues to team leaders and cross‑functional partners. • Rotate through various tasks such as molding, assembly, potting, washing, painting, and inspection. • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly workplace and participate in cell meetings. • Meet key performance metrics: safety, product quality, productivity, on‑time delivery.

Basic mathematical skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, ratios, and proportions are necessary, along with the ability to recognize when something is wrong and apply general rules to specific problems. • Demonstrate problem‑solving, detail‑orientation, and reliable teamwork. • Possess a high school diploma or GED and a solid work history in industrial assembly. • Knowledge of gauging processes and basic math skills (addition, subtraction, ratios, etc.).
