About the Role
The AI Platform Delivery Department Manager leads the enterprise strategy, governance, and operational excellence of Con Edison's core AI and data platforms that power grid operations, asset management, forecasting, and customer analytics. This role oversees the end‑to‑end performance, security, and reliability of key technologies, including Google BigQuery, Databricks, and C3.ai, ensuring they deliver trusted, compliant, and scalable services across the company. Acting as the strategic owner, the manager aligns all platform operations with Con Edison's long‑term grid modernization and digital transformation goals. In addition to technical leadership, the position carries responsibility for financial management, vendor engagement, and cross‑functional collaboration with cybersecurity, legal, compliance, and infrastructure teams. The manager ensures data platforms meet utility‑grade standards for availability, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance while enabling innovation through AI‑driven insights and reports value realization and risk posture to senior executives.
