About the Role

Electronic Coat Paint Line Operators run the paint line system, handling the loading and unloading of panels and large tanks. They also assemble cabinets for a sister site on Lincoln Avenue and operate forklifts to move materials as needed. Operators break down and hang cabinet kits and component parts on the paint line, including covers, nut guards, transformers, and regulator tanks. They select appropriate hangers and hooks, apply and remove thread protectors and masking tape, and visually inspect parts for compliance. Equipment such as drop sections, shuttle cars, towers, rotators, stacker and fork trucks, and the hook burn-off oven are operated to position, load, and unload materials according to production schedules. Operators also mark part numbers, attach paperwork, and coordinate with supervisors on non-conforming parts. • Load and unload panels, tanks, and pallets without damaging painted surfaces • Break down, assemble, and hang cabinet kits, covers, nut guards, and other components on the paint line • Select appropriate hangers and hooks to ensure safe part handling • Apply and remove thread protectors and masking tape; inspect parts for standard compliance • Operate drop sections, shuttle cars, towers, rotators, stacker/fork trucks, and hook burn-off oven • Mark part numbers, attach paperwork, and record dates on parts • Coordinate with supervisors or team leads regarding non-conforming parts • Identify specialty units from paperwork to assist painters and meet delivery schedules

What You Bring

Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the work site, though active-duty military members are exempt. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to read shop specifications, and the physical capability to lift up to 50 lb and perform various manual tasks. Overtime availability is required, and no relocation assistance is provided. • Lift up to 50 lb and perform bending, twisting, standing, walking, and other manual tasks • Hold a high school diploma or GED and understand shop drawings and process sheets • Be available for overtime and reside within a 50-mile radius (military exemption applies)
