About the Role
The role requires coordinating schedules with customers, managers, and sales engineers, handling paperwork, and ensuring equipment is clean, tested, and safely installed. Technicians must also respond to emergency service calls on a rotating schedule, including weekends and evenings. • Communicate professionally with customers, managers, and sales engineers to schedule deliveries, pick‑ups, and service calls. • Deliver and install rented HVAC equipment; train authorized operators on safe use. • Ensure customers sign required paperwork and track equipment serial numbers. • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and understand operation and specifications of all rental equipment. • Operate company vehicle safely and adhere to all safety policies. • Clean and test returned equipment to meet operational and appearance standards. • Complete paperwork for deliveries, pick‑ups, and service calls. • Install flexible gas hoses for propane and natural‑gas applications. • Follow proper, safe procedures to check gas connections. • Maintain accurate records of in‑stock and rented equipment with managers and sales engineers. • Be on call for emergency service on a rotating schedule, including weekends and evenings. • Provide tuition reimbursement and employee assistance program.

What You Bring
The HVAC Technician 2 position expects a professional demeanor, clear communication, and exemplary service. Technicians deliver portable HVAC equipment, operate, repair, and perform shop duties, including delivery and installation of climate‑control equipment. Candidates need 3–5 years of formal HVAC experience, basic math skills, mechanical aptitude, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and must be at least 21 years old. Ability to work after‑hours and weekends during peak periods is required, and an HVAC certificate is preferred. • Possess 3–5 years of formal HVAC experience/training. • Demonstrate basic math skills and mechanical aptitude. • Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean record (no points). • Be at least 21 years old and able to work after‑hours and weekends during peak times. • Ability to troubleshoot and repair most climate‑control equipment while following safety principles. • HVAC certificate preferred.
