About the Role
The CAD Specialist collaborates with architects, engineers, and designers to develop precise 2D and 3D models, ensuring designs meet industry standards and project specifications. Responsibilities include producing high-quality architectural drawings, supporting document production, and maintaining CAD standards. • Supports team in document production needs. • Upholds graphic and CAD standards in documentation. • Produces timely and accurate project documentation with guidance of studio architects. • Assists with project coordination through document overlays. • Develops new Revit families as needed. • Supports and trains others in software platforms and standards as needed. • Engages in professional development related to project documentation. • Learns new design technology platforms used at MG2. • Participates in continuous improvement initiatives. • Communicates workload and manages tasks to meet deadlines. • Manages work within assigned scope and time budget.

What You Bring
Qualifications include an associate’s or technical degree, proven CAD experience, proficiency with AutoCAD or Revit, and a strong understanding of design principles and construction methods. Candidates must demonstrate attention to detail, effective communication, time management, and a continuous learning mindset. • Associate’s or technical degree in related field (preferred). • Proven experience as a CAD Specialist or similar role. • Proficiency using AutoCAD or Revit. • Strong understanding of design principles, construction methods, and industry standards. • Working knowledge of document production, architectural process, and permit processes. • Excellent attention to detail and precision in technical drawings. • Effective communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities. • Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with industry trends and technologies. • Excellent time management skills. • Highly collaborative team player. • Strong communication skills. • Ability to take direction and provide feedback. • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). • Ability to read, write, and understand English for job-related communications.

Compensation ranges from $58,000 to $70,000 per year, depending on qualifications, and the position is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
