About the Role
The Manager, Software Development – ServiceNow leads a team that designs, develops, configures, and maintains solutions on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic goals, best practices, and governance standards. Reporting to senior IT leadership, the manager drives platform innovation and stability across modules such as GRC, HRSD, ITOM, ITSM, and SecOps, while overseeing the software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to post‑implementation support. • Lead, mentor, and manage a ServiceNow development team and administrators, fostering a collaborative, high‑performance culture. • Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and support career development for team members. • Manage workload, priorities, and assignments using Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and ITIL frameworks. • Establish and enforce development standards, code review processes, and best practices to ensure code quality and platform health. • Oversee the full Software Development Lifecycle for ServiceNow projects, from design through deployment and post‑implementation support. • Define and manage the ServiceNow development roadmap aligned with business and IT strategy. • Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and comply with security and compliance standards. • Drive continuous improvement by evaluating new ServiceNow features and releases. • Manage vendor relationships for platform upgrades, patches, and governance of security, performance, and compliance.

What You Bring
The role requires at least five years of software development experience and five years of managing development teams, with a minimum of seven years in the ServiceNow ecosystem and three years in technical leadership. The position is hybrid, requiring four days onsite in Phoenix, AZ, and offers a salary range of $120,400 to $165,550 plus incentive compensation. • Minimum 5 years managing software development teams and 5 years in software development. • At least 7 years in the ServiceNow ecosystem with 3 years in technical leadership or management. • Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting languages and integrations with third‑party systems. • Ability to handle multiple complex projects in a fast‑paced environment.
