About the Role

The Senior Accountant is responsible for accurate and timely preparation and entry of journal entries and financial reports, extensive account analysis, and implementation of process improvements. This role serves as the first point of contact for staff on month‑end processes and resolves intermediate issues related to assigned reports and analysis. • Perform month‑end close, journal entries and accruals • Reconcile accounts, investigate differences, and identify risks and opportunities • Propose solutions to prevent recurring issues • Prepare audit deliverables for external financial statement audits • Manage corporate fixed assets: add, locate, dispose, and transfer • Execute regular accounting functions with professional competence • Support interim and year‑end audit requests and scheduling • Assist with annual operating budget preparation, analysis, and review • Monitor system balances, research and resolve discrepancies • Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives and change management • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies and procedures

What You Bring

The position may require travel up to 15% of the time to support various company initiatives and project sites. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration • Minimum 5 years of Accounting/Finance experience • CPA certification (preferred) • 2‑3 years public accounting experience (preferred) • Experience with JD Edwards and Deltek Vantagepoint (preferred) • Knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance • Advanced Excel skills for large‑data analysis • Self‑starter capable of independent work and team support • Strong written and verbal communication • Effective communication across all organization levels • Excellent time‑management for multiple projects • Strong analytical abilities • Sound decision‑making and problem‑solving • Travel required up to 15% of time
