About the Role
The UX/UI Designer will design, prototype, and develop front‑end components for SCADA products and automation interfaces, ensuring a seamless and intuitive experience for operators and engineers managing energy storage systems. This role merges aesthetic design, user research, and technical implementation to translate complex system data and stakeholder feedback into high‑performance, responsive, and scalable visual solutions. • Design and maintain SCADA product interfaces and new features using HTML, CSS, Flexbox, and Grid based on evolving user needs and technical feedback. • Create, manage, and optimize vector graphics and SVGs for high‑performance use within the SCADA environment. • Use Adobe Illustrator and Figma to maintain and expand an internal design system, including styles, iconography, typography, and color palettes. • Collaborate with engineering to solve logic problems and implement dynamic, data‑driven product interfaces. • Ensure designs are fully responsive and optimized for both Light and Dark modes across diverse environments. • Optimize interfaces for touch‑screen HMI devices, emphasizing industrial‑grade usability and ergonomics. • Design intuitive workflows for complex tasks such as device settings editing and system configuration. • Facilitate regular feedback sessions with English‑ and Spanish‑speaking users to gather qualitative insights and validate design directions. • Refactor and optimize front‑end code to improve system performance, maintainability, and long‑term scalability. • Proactively identify future design trends and technical improvements to keep the product at the forefront of the energy storage market.

What You Bring
The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in multimedia, graphic, interaction, or UX/UI design, strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, Flexbox, and Grid, advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator and Figma, and experience with SVG optimization, industrial‑grade usability, and responsive design for both light and dark modes. The candidate must collaborate with engineering teams, conduct user research with English‑ and Spanish‑speaking users, and be willing to travel for field work.
