Senior Bridge Project Engineer

Job Highlights
About the Role
• Lead technical design and staff on bridge projects, develop work plans, coordinate disciplines, perform calculations, modeling, design reviews, cost estimating, specifications, and construction support. • Mentor and develop design staff. • Update internal standards of practice. • Perform quality control/assurance checks on computations, models, CAD drawings, reports, estimates, and specifications. • Serve as liaison for clients, design professionals, and contractors. • Act as quality coordinator for discipline‑led projects. • Assist in developing technical narratives, scope, and fee proposals. • Participate in professional association committees and represent the company at conferences. • Stamp/sign drawings or reports and serve as Engineer of Record.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s a plus). • 7+ years bridge/structure design engineering experience. • Florida PE license (or ability to obtain). • Proficiency with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil3D (a plus). • Ability to work independently with strong work ethic and willingness to learn. • Knowledge of FDOT, AASHTO, AREMA codes (a plus). • Proficient English communication skills.
