About the Role

The Assistant Project Manager role supports a multidisciplinary team to deliver projects from initiation through design, construction, and completion across a range of sectors. You will work side‑by‑side with colleagues to ensure each project’s success. • Support the full project lifecycle from initiation through design, construction, and completion across diverse sectors. • Manage multiple fit‑out and refurbishment projects concurrently, coordinating vendors to prevent downtime. • Prepare detailed project specifications, timelines, tender/bid documents, and oversee vendor procurement. • Produce weekly project reports and stakeholder updates, ensuring adherence to budget and schedule. • Apply interior fit‑out management skills, covering schedule, quality, cost, risk management, and negotiation. • Conduct client needs assessments, commercial evaluations, and develop comprehensive project management proposals. • Perform value engineering, buildability analysis, and critical reviews of design and documentation. • Resolve problems urgently, negotiate risk‑assessed solutions, and navigate ambiguities under tight deadlines. • Lead and motivate project teams, foster collaboration, and leverage digital platforms for efficient project delivery.

What You Bring

In this position you will be exposed to fit‑outs and refurbishments for both tenants and landlords, handling projects of varying dollar value, complexity, and asset type, including commercial, retail, industrial, hospitality, and education. Successful candidates bring prior experience in project management within a design‑and‑build, consultancy, or contractor environment and can confidently engage internal and external stakeholders while maintaining a structured, organised approach. The role requires a client‑centric mindset, a relevant degree, and one to three years of experience in interior fit‑out projects for multinational clients, with strong abilities in assessing client needs and preparing proposals. Candidates must demonstrate business acumen, technical expertise in project tools and best practices, urgency in problem solving, resilience under competing priorities, and skill in negotiating risk‑aware solutions. Strong communication, organisational skills, and the ability to lead and motivate project teams using digital platforms are essential for collaboration and successful delivery. • Demonstrate business savvy with strong technical knowledge of project tools, processes, and best practices.
