About the Role

The Business Development Manager role is based in Auckland and will manage the New Zealand market for Schneider’s Services portfolio, which supports hospitals, utilities, data centres and the resources sector. The position combines consultative selling with the development of long‑term customer relationships and offers a hybrid work model with travel across the country. • Maximise orders, profitability and customer satisfaction across the NZ market for a broad range of technical products and services. • Develop and maintain key relationships locally and across the wider organisation to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. • Use a consultative approach to address customer needs and identify new business opportunities. • Create and execute an Annual Sales Plan, providing ongoing account management. • Educate customers on products, recurring and digital offers, and support the preparation of quotations and bid proposals. • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline and account planning aligned with reporting milestones.

What You Bring

• Travel throughout New Zealand as required. • Proven technical sales background, preferably as an Account or Business Development Manager in electrical markets. • Consultative selling style with a track record of exceeding targets. • Growth mindset with strong relationship‑building skills. • Digital proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems. • Knowledge of Schneider Electric offers or an electrical trade/engineering background is a plus.
