About the Role
Key duties include transporting hazardous waste, industrial fluids and non‑hazardous waste in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines, operating various vehicle types such as vans, straight trucks, tankers, vacuum tankers and roll‑offs, and performing pre‑ and post‑trip safety inspections while maintaining a DOT driver’s log. The driver must communicate via radio or telephone with dispatch and supervisors, complete work tickets, manage daily inventory of tools and equipment, report safety issues and repair needs, and ensure operations are efficient and cost‑effective, using personal protective equipment as required. Up to 30% of the schedule may be over‑the‑road (OTR). • Transport hazardous waste and industrial fluids in compliance with DOT regulations. • Operate a range of vehicles including vans, straight trucks, tankers, vacuum tankers and roll‑offs. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip safety inspections and maintain a DOT driver’s log. • Communicate via radio/telephone with dispatch and supervisors for pickup and delivery instructions. • Complete work tickets and track daily inventory of tools and equipment. • Report safety issues, incidents and repair needs to management. • Ensure jobs are performed efficiently and cost‑effectively, using PPE as required.

What You Bring
The Company provides industrial waste services and is seeking an Industrial HazMat Driver to operate a tractor‑trailer and other truck equipment for hauling industrial waste to disposal or recycling facilities. The driver is expected to deliver efficient response times and maintain a high level of service for customers. Applicants must hold a Class A Commercial Driver’s License with tanker and hazmat endorsements, possess at least one year of experience driving commercial trucks, and have knowledge of equipment used for transporting industrial and hazardous waste. • Possess a Class A CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements and at least one year of commercial truck experience. • Knowledge of equipment used for transporting industrial and hazardous waste.
