About the Role

The Operating Engineer role focuses on providing high‑level customer service through on‑site and on‑call plant operation support. The position requires strong technical, mechanical, and administrative skills to manage building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance while collaborating with the Engineering Manager and a diverse client base. • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair building equipment including HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. • Perform predictive, preventive, and routine maintenance tasks and respond to service requests. • Assist contractors and ensure safe, standards‑compliant execution of contracted services. • Maintain documentation for fire extinguishers, suppression systems, building alarms, and other life‑safety equipment. • Participate in on‑call rotation for weekends and holidays, including occasional overtime. • Support Engineering Manager in completing JLL compliance programs and related documentation. • Provide courteous, prompt responses to client requests in line with JLL guidelines.

What You Bring

Candidates should have 3–5 years of building engineering experience, a high school diploma or GED, and proficiency with hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and basic computer applications.
