About the Role
The Industrial Engineer will collaborate with production and planning teams to boost on‑time delivery through data‑driven decision‑making and process optimization, using tools such as JPI scheduling software. Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing shop‑floor data, conducting time studies, mapping workflows, and supporting continuous‑improvement initiatives, requiring a solid grasp of manufacturing, supply‑chain fundamentals, and Lean/Six Sigma principles. • Coordinate data integration across engineering, procurement, production, and IT for planning and analysis. • Leverage JPI scheduling software to analyze and optimize on‑time delivery performance. • Collect daily time and quantity data from critical and non‑critical shop‑floor processes for real‑time insights. • Conduct time studies comparing auto‑generated and manual scheduling methods. • Map shop‑floor workflows to identify standardization and improvement opportunities. • Drive cross‑functional, data‑informed decisions in production and planning activities. • Track, monitor, and report key performance indicators to identify trends and improvement areas. • Perform time‑and‑motion studies and recommend workflow enhancements. • Apply supply‑chain and manufacturing operations concepts to solve complex problems. • Prepare clear, concise reports and documentation for team members and management. • Collaborate with operators, supervisors, and engineers to implement improvements smoothly. • Maintain high organization and attention to detail.

What You Bring
The Industrial Engineer position is located in the US Bellows department and reports to the US Bellows Operations Manager. It is classified as Non‑Exempt, full‑time, with a day shift schedule Monday through Friday. The role is not open to F1, VISA, OPT, or EAD candidates. This full‑time, in‑person role is based at 3701 Holmes Rd, Houston, TX 77051. The work environment involves varying conditions such as heat, rain, cold, and typical plant settings, with long periods of standing, walking, and sitting in a high‑stress, busy manufacturing shop. • Adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. • Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. • Demonstrate basic knowledge of supply‑chain operations and production scheduling. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools such as Power BI or equivalent. • Ability to lift and move materials as required.
