About the Role

The Maintenance Lead provides mechanical and electrical maintenance expertise, ensuring high reliability, equipment value, and cost efficiency of manufacturing and packaging equipment. The role involves troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, safety compliance, and collaboration with production teams. • Perform mechanical, minor electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing and packaging equipment. • Conduct emergency/unplanned repairs and scheduled preventive maintenance inspections. • Update maintenance software with accurate preventive and reactive work records. • Interpret equipment manuals, engineering drawings, and work orders to execute maintenance tasks. • Follow SOPs, OSHA, Sandvik safety rules, and apply 5S housekeeping standards. • Provide input on equipment purchases and replacements. • Diagnose issues on presses, furnaces, threaders, conveyors, saws, and automated production lines. • Use lathes, mills, welders, and grinders for repairs and maintenance. • Collaborate with the Production Supervisor on projects and preventive maintenance. • Assign simple tasks to junior staff and guide their completion. • Complete maintenance reports for internal and external stakeholders. • Perform risk assessments (“Take Five”) and report unsafe conditions.

What You Bring

• Red Seal certification with 2–5 years of industrial experience. • Hands‑on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated systems. • Strong leadership, problem‑solving, analytical skills, and basic computer proficiency.
