About the Role

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will provide strategic and hands‑on leadership for plant operations, overseeing safety, quality, cost, productivity, continuous improvement, compliance, asset management and team development. You will partner with Continuous Improvement, Engineering and regional teams to drive operational excellence and reliability. Safety leadership includes modeling safe behaviors, enforcing corporate and regulatory policies, conducting incident investigations and ensuring corrective actions, while maintaining housekeeping/5S standards and supporting drug‑and‑alcohol programs. Quality responsibility means embedding high product standards, ensuring compliance with the Quality Management System, FDA cGMP and 21 CFR 820 requirements, and developing prevention systems to minimize defects. Delivery and cost duties include managing budgets and schedules, applying Lean/OPEX principles, standardizing processes, collaborating with reliability, logistics and planning teams, and meeting targets such as OTIF, OEE and external cost savings. Collaboration and communication require acting as a liaison between the plant and corporate teams, influencing senior leadership, representing the site in strategic initiatives and start‑up projects, and ensuring alignment with long‑term operational goals. • Lead plant safety programs, enforce policies, conduct investigations, and maintain 5S standards. • Oversee quality systems to ensure FDA cGMP and 21 CFR 820 compliance and drive defect reduction. • Build and develop high‑performing teams through coaching, mentoring and inclusive culture initiatives. • Manage budgets, apply Lean/OPEX methods, and achieve OTIF, OEE and cost‑saving targets. • Serve as liaison between plant and corporate leadership, influencing strategic decisions.

What You Bring
The Product System Manager position operates in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, offering accelerated development, hands‑on leadership experience, and executive exposure. To succeed you should hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or a related field, have ten or more years of experience in operations, engineering, lean manufacturing or maintenance, and possess strong people‑management and change‑leadership skills. The role operates on a 24/7 schedule with flexibility to travel up to 15 % for benchmarking across North America, and requires the ability to work in a manufacturing environment. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related field with 10+ years of operations or engineering experience. • Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement and multi‑plant leadership. • Ability to travel up to 15 % for benchmarking and best‑practice sharing across North America.
