About the Role
The Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck, delivering prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services while ensuring the vehicle complies with company safety standards and all applicable regulations. Daily vehicle condition reports (VCRs) are completed to address any defects promptly. Primary duties include thorough pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections, following route sheets to service customers, loading and compacting refuse, and disposing of waste at designated facilities. The driver interacts professionally with customers and dispatchers, tags unsatisfactory containers, cleans accidental spills, monitors vehicle readiness, and submits required productivity and safety reports.

What You Bring
Success in this role requires strong customer service skills, effective time management, reliable follow‑through, and a commitment to safety without taking inappropriate risks. Employees are expected to embody pride in their work and uphold company policies and standards. Candidates must hold a Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brake endorsement and be willing to work in the Austin, TX area and surrounding locations such as Creedmoor, Mustang Ridge, Garfield, Hornsby Bend, Niederwald, and Cedar Creek.
