About the Role

The Cleaner works part‑time on the 2nd shift under the Custodial Manager or Supervisor at C&W Services, performing custodial duties according to company standards and procedures. Daily tasks include sweeping, mopping, and washing floors and other interior surfaces, using both light and heavy commercial floor buffers and shampoo machines. The role also involves vacuuming rugs, spot‑cleaning and shampooing them as directed, and cleaning and dusting furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and other horizontal surfaces, including periodic high dusting. The cleaner maintains interior glass, windowsills, interior‑exterior doors, and specified windows, as well as interior walls. Restroom duties consist of cleaning, restocking paper supplies, wiping glass, emptying waste baskets, servicing soap and toilet paper dispensers, dusting sills, cleaning tile walls, shelves, stall partitions, and sweeping/mopping/scrubbing floors, while monitoring for defects such as clogged urinals or non‑functioning lights and reporting them. Additional responsibilities include collecting building trash daily, placing it in approved containers, replacing liners, and disposing of waste in designated areas. The cleaner also removes snow from steps and walkways as directed and performs periodic tasks such as high dusting, polishing leather and wood surfaces, and wall washing. Any other duties may be assigned. • Sweep, mop, and shampoo floors using commercial equipment. • Vacuum rugs, spot‑clean, and dust furniture, fixtures, and horizontal surfaces. • Clean interior glass, windows, doors, and walls; perform high dusting as needed. • Maintain restrooms, restock supplies, and report any defects. • Collect and dispose of trash, replace liners, and remove snow from walkways. • Operate cleaning tools independently while collaborating with the custodial team.

What You Bring

The position requires no prior cleaning experience, the ability to follow directions, work with minimal supervision, and cooperate as part of a team. Candidates must be able to operate cleaning tools and equipment, possess strong attention to detail, pride in service quality, organizational skills, and the energy and endurance needed for the role. • No prior experience required; emphasis on attention to detail and stamina.
