About the Role

The Lead Installer will guide a crew of installers, oversee residential HVAC system installations—including central air, furnaces, heat pumps, and ductless mini‑splits—ensure proper system start‑up, testing, and compliance with codes, and serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners to guarantee satisfaction. • Lead, mentor, and train a team of HVAC installers. • Perform and oversee installation of residential HVAC systems (central AC, furnaces, heat pumps, ductless mini‑splits). • Conduct system startup procedures and thorough testing to verify functionality. • Serve as primary point of contact for homeowners, providing expert recommendations. • Identify and resolve issues during installation to ensure optimal performance. • Ensure installations comply with NEC, state/local HVAC regulations, and safety policies. • Perform final inspections to meet Bruni & Campisi's high standards. • Document job details and maintain records using Service Titan. • Coordinate with warehouse to stock job sites with necessary materials and tools. • Identify and implement best practices to improve efficiency and service quality.

What You Bring

Bruni & Campisi, part of the Apex Service Partners network, is looking for an experienced Lead HVAC Installer to join its established and growing team. This role is ideal for a seasoned HVAC professional with leadership experience who wants a new opportunity. Candidates must have at least five years of HVAC installation experience, demonstrated ability to mentor and manage junior installers, advanced technical knowledge of various HVAC systems, proficiency with service software such as Service Titan, and strong communication, safety, and detail‑orientation skills, along with a valid driver’s license and the physical ability to handle heavy equipment. • Minimum 5 years HVAC installation experience. • Proven ability to manage, mentor, and train junior installers. • Advanced knowledge of HVAC system installations, including AC units, furnaces, heat pumps, and mini‑splits. • Experience with Service Titan or similar service software (preferred). • Ability to read technical diagrams, blueprints, and installation manuals. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer‑focused approach. • Strong attention to detail ensuring quality and safety. • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, tools, and materials.
