About the Role
You will collaborate with staff, management, Facility personnel, and contractors in a respectful and efficient manner while performing all duties safely and following occupational health and safety guidelines. Maintaining clean work areas and good housekeeping practices is an essential part of the role. The technical scope includes maintenance, repair, and service of specialized building systems such as Ccure 9000, Milestone VMS, Genetec VMS, network and fire systems, as well as electrical/electronic security and building automation (BAS). A working knowledge of these systems and related equipment is required. Key responsibilities encompass preventive and corrective maintenance, equipment monitoring, facility walkthroughs, and timely documentation of observations and repairs in the service maintenance management database. You will also coordinate with subcontractors, recommend spare parts, support preventative‑maintenance programs, and assist with facility‑related projects while ensuring compliance with environmental, health, safety, and fire regulations. • Respond to customer inquiries promptly and courteously. • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems (Ccure 9000, Milestone VMS, Genetec VMS, BAS, fire systems). • Conduct facility walkthroughs, inspections, and equipment monitoring to ensure uptime. • Document work orders, resolutions, and equipment logs in the maintenance management system. • Collaborate with Facility Maintenance teams, subcontractors, and management safely. • Comply with health, safety, environmental, and fire protection policies. • Operate a company vehicle across the GTA and maintain a clean driving record. • Work flexible shifts, on‑call, and emergency standby; lift up to 50 lb and work at heights.

What You Bring
As a Customer Service Technician serving the Greater Toronto Area, you will respond to client inquiries and work orders promptly, adhering to the response times defined in the Facility Maintenance Services Agreement. The position requires independent work in coordination with site‑based Facility Maintenance teams, a clean driving record, and compliance with company vehicle policies. The position demands flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and 12‑hour shifts, with availability for on‑call and emergency standby. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lb, working on ladders or step stools, and standing for extended periods in a fast‑paced environment. Candidates must read blueprints and schematics, possess strong verbal and written English communication skills, and be familiar with building automation systems and handheld devices. A positive, professional attitude, client‑service orientation, and ability to work within a dynamic team are essential.
