About the Role
As a Security Officer in Property and Asset Management you will join the Building Management team on‑site in Gurugram, reporting to the Security Lead. You will supervise security operations, maintain policies, conduct investigations, manage emergencies and coordinate with vendors and government agencies. The role requires 48 hours per week and includes regular reporting and communication with the client’s single point of contact. • Update and maintain building security policies, procedures, and crime‑deterrent programs. • Supervise security staff, assign duties, and provide training on security, fire safety and first aid. • Verify vendor security personnel, audit contractors for compliance, and keep documentation current. • Conduct security investigations and produce detailed incident reports. • Track material movement and manage lost‑and‑found inventory. • Respond efficiently to emergencies such as fires, evacuations, complaints and human crises. • Develop and maintain an emergency preparedness and disaster‑management plan with an Emergency Response Team. • Perform security risk assessments and design effective guarding strategies. • Organize and lead mock drills for medical emergencies, bomb threats, riots and other scenarios. • Operate and monitor security systems including CCTV, access control, fire detection and suppression equipment. • Hold weekly coordination meetings with vendor heads, share minutes with project managers and the client. • Liaise with government agencies (police, fire services) and prepare monthly security management reports.
