About the Role
• Adopt and integrate cloud architectures and cloud‑enabled platforms. • Utilize Agile, DevSecOps, and Modern Software Factory practices, including APIs, microservices, and continuous deployment. • Identify, evaluate, and recommend architectural improvements for FGA 2.0 and future ground architectures. • Develop and maintain reference cloud architectures and design patterns. • Evaluate and recommend SPO architectures to maximize cloud services aligned with GED's FGA 2.0 vision. • Collaborate with developers, operations, and security teams to align architecture decisions and implementation approaches. • Document design choices, configurations, and procedures for knowledge sharing and troubleshooting. • Architect, engineer, develop, and deploy systems and applications in cloud environments. • Communicate complex security concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

What You Bring
KBR is seeking a highly qualified Cloud Computing Architect to support a government customer by delivering mission‑critical capabilities for intelligence‑gathering missions and processing collected data for IC and DoD users. This position will be contingent upon contract award and focuses on planning, execution, and data distribution across secure platforms. • Possess 10+ years of software engineering experience. • Demonstrate strong knowledge of enterprise computing, operating systems, and cloud platforms (Linux, Windows, Azure, AWS). • Exhibit strong problem‑solving skills in fast‑paced, collaborative settings. • Hold a bachelor's degree and obtain TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
