About the Role

The Sub System Design Integrator – Controls System role offers the chance to work on flagship Rolls‑Royce programmes, tackling complex technological challenges within a multi‑disciplinary, global team. Reporting to the Control System Lead, the position acts as the customer‑facing technical liaison for the project, managing technical risk, quality compliance, planning, budgeting and resource allocation. The role’s key accountabilities include designing and implementing advanced control system solutions, troubleshooting integration testing, supporting commissioning, producing technical documentation, and providing supply‑chain technical support. The incumbent will also lead project planning, engage with internal and external customers, ensure lifecycle process compliance, and drive the use of automation, digital tools and lean processes. What You Bring

Ideal candidates hold a degree in systems, system design, software or electrical engineering and have solid software‑engineering experience. They must be able to work autonomously on ambiguous, complex problems, lead projects, supervise junior staff, and communicate ideas clearly. Experience with SysML modelling tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler and Chartered Engineer status are advantageous. • Hold a degree in systems, system design, software or electrical engineering with software engineering experience. • (Advantageous) Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler (MagicDraw) or similar SysML tools; Chartered Engineer registration or pursuit.
