Frontload Driver (CDL B)

About the Role

The Driver – CDL (B) is responsible for safely operating a collection truck and delivering prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services to customers. The role also requires ensuring the vehicle complies with the Company’s safety standards, adhering to all applicable state and federal regulations, and completing daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects promptly. Drivers must perform thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, verifying tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls. While on route they read the route sheet, follow maps, lift and load refuse, operate the compactor, and dispose of material at the designated facility. They interact professionally with customers and dispatchers, tag unsatisfactory containers, clean accidental spills, and continuously monitor vehicle condition, cleaning the packer blade and truck body as needed. • Perform complete pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections • Safely operate the collection truck along assigned routes and to disposal sites • Load, lift, and compact waste using manual or automatic controls • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and colleagues • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers per procedures • Clean accidental waste spills following safety standards • Monitor and maintain vehicle condition, cleaning packer blade and truck body each trip • Complete route, productivity sheets, VCRs, and other required reports • Meet departmental productivity standards and adhere to safety policies • Participate actively in the company’s ReSOP safety program

What You Bring

All drivers are required to hold a Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brake endorsement. The position offers a pay range of $22.40 to $30.80 per hour, varying by locality, and includes eligibility for the Company’s bonus and benefit plans.
