About the Role

The Panel Assembler builds and assembles electrical control cabinets and related industrial equipment for pushrod and C‑Shift projects. Responsibilities include laying out back panels, drilling and tapping holes, installing components, and terminating wires for both low and high voltage applications according to schematics and drawings. Key job functions involve reading electrical schematics and mechanical layouts, verifying that all parts are accounted for, positioning components in fixtures, affixing terminals, installing wire ducts, DIN rails, power supplies, relays, circuit breakers, transformers, logic controllers, and drives. The assembler also performs crimping, screwing, bolting, and other joining operations, selects appropriate wire gauges, connects wires, and cuts and routes wire to specified lengths. • Install electrical components into control cabinets based on layout and schematics • Lay out back panels and drill/tap mounting holes using hand tools and drill press • Terminate wires for low and high voltage applications and route them appropriately • Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder diagrams, and mechanical layouts • Verify part inventory against electrical prints and position components in fixtures • Perform crimping, screwing, bolting, and press‑fit operations with hand and automation tools • Select correct wire gauges according to drawings, customer practices, and component requirements • Cut wires to specified lengths, twist, wrap, and secure them to terminals and connectors
