About the Role

The Relief Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck to provide prompt and courteous waste removal services, ensuring vehicle compliance with safety standards and completing daily vehicle condition reports. • Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report safety issues. • Operate the collection truck safely along assigned routes, following route sheets and maps. • Lift, load, compact, and unload waste using manual or automatic controls per safety policies. • Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely service. • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers per procedures. • Monitor waste for unacceptable materials and address issues. • Clean accidental spills following safety standards. • Keep the vehicle operationally ready, cleaning packer blade and truck body each trip. • Complete route, productivity, and vehicle condition reports daily. • Follow all safety policies and participate in the ReSOP program. • Manage time efficiently to complete responsibilities safely. • Adhere to company policies and promote safety standards. • Use health care and dependent care spending accounts. • Participate in Employee Assistance Program and discount programs. • Participate in a retirement plan with company match and ESPP.

What You Bring

• Deliver excellent customer service with professionalism and honesty. • Possess at least two years of commercial truck driving experience (preferred). • Hold a Class B (or higher) CDL with air‑brake endorsement.
