About the Role

The Leasing Consultant handles leasing, marketing, and resident relations for a property, including showing units, qualifying prospects, completing lease paperwork, and ensuring resident satisfaction. The position requires daily on‑site attendance, handling resident complaints, supporting retention programs, and contributing to office and common‑area upkeep. • Attend the property daily and maintain punctual on‑site presence. • Show, lease, and move in prospective residents; qualify, tour, and sign leases. • Generate leads, schedule appointments, conduct tours, maintain model units, and follow up to close sales. • Complete all leasing paperwork prior to move‑in and assist with lease audits and unit turn processes. • Track prospect traffic, update leasing data, and respond to leads within 24 hours. • Apply sales and marketing strategies to boost traffic, improve closing ratios, and exceed leasing targets. • Perform administrative tasks and support resident retention initiatives such as events, promotions, and newsletters. • Address resident complaints, concerns, and requests to ensure satisfaction. • Maintain cleanliness of the office, common areas, and model unit. • Implement the annual marketing plan and conduct ongoing market surveys and analysis. • Keep detailed product knowledge of the property, competition, and market conditions; submit weekly market reports. • Deliver excellent customer service and monitor service‑request response times. • Represent the community positively to achieve objectives and public recognition. • Enforce community policies as delegated by the supervisor.

What You Bring

• Minimum requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent. • Basic computer proficiency and ability to use on‑site software. • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements. • Physical ability to climb ladders, stairs, and scaffolding; lift or move objects up to 25 lb; stand, sit, or work in confined or outdoor environments; and work overtime, weekends, or night hours.
