About the Role

In this role you will join a dynamic team that values innovation, diversity, and collaboration, supporting the Transformers Business Unit as it delivers advanced energy solutions worldwide. You will work at the intersection of engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance, driving consistency and excellence in component strategies while influencing global projects. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring component consistency across global projects by working closely with engineering, supply‑chain, and quality teams. This includes supporting supplier selection, contributing to test method alignment, and documenting progress to help drive cost‑effective, high‑quality solutions. • Develop and maintain standardized component specifications for transformers globally • Collaborate with engineering teams to unify material standards and ensure compliance • Partner with supply chain to define and drive material standardization • Clarify global test methods for critical-to-quality parameters • Provide technical support during supplier selection and product approval • Negotiate technical requirements with suppliers to optimize quality and cost • Stay current on component technologies and material advancements • Prepare documentation and reports on performance and standardization progress • Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines

What You Bring

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering and brings a minimum of five years of experience with transformer components and accessories, including strong supplier technology development expertise. Advanced knowledge of component engineering, material specifications, and familiarity with SAP S/4Hana and Windchill are preferred.
