About the Role

What You Bring
Commencing February 2026, we’re looking for people from all backgrounds – whether you bring Defence experience, industry knowledge, or transferable skills from other sectors. The ideal candidate will have post‑trade experience in mechanical fitting or maintenance services, demonstrated experience in preventative and corrective maintenance of mechanical plant and equipment, and a Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade. Desirable qualifications include Confined Space Entry Certification and a White Card, as well as a current open driver’s licence and the ability to obtain and retain Defence Security Clearance (Australian citizenship required). A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to delivering high‑quality outcomes are essential. • Hold post‑trade experience in mechanical fitting or maintenance services. • Demonstrated experience in preventative and corrective maintenance of mechanical plant and equipment. • Possess Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade. • Hold (or obtain) Confined Space Entry Certification and White Card (desirable) and a current open driver’s licence. • Able to obtain and retain Defence Security Clearance (Australian citizenship required). • Exhibit strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to high‑quality outcomes.
