About the Role
The role will guide managers through labour‑relation matters, ensure legal and collective‑agreement compliance, and help roll out strategic HR initiatives. You will influence organisational performance by providing data‑driven insights and fostering continuous improvement of HR practices. You will be involved in a broad set of employee‑life‑cycle activities, from performance and absence oversight to supporting organisational change and coaching leaders. The position also includes contributing to HR project delivery and ensuring data integrity across HR systems. • Ensure adherence to collective agreements, labour laws and internal policies. • Provide guidance to managers, staff and union representatives on labour‑relation issues. • Handle disciplinary actions, investigations, performance reviews, absence management, disability accommodations and employee terminations. • Coach leaders and support them in resolving human‑resource and organisational challenges. • Lead or assist with cross‑functional HR projects and the deployment of corporate programmes. • Gather, analyse and present HR data to create dashboards and support decision‑making. • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date HR information while monitoring performance and cost metrics. • Drive continuous improvement of HR processes, tools and best practices.

What You Bring
Candidates must possess a valid Canadian work permit and bring solid HR experience, especially in labour‑relations contexts. A relevant university degree and bilingual communication skills are preferred, alongside strong analytical abilities and the capacity to work autonomously. • Minimum five years of relevant HR experience with a strong focus on labour‑relations; experience in a unionized environment is an advantage. • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, industrial relations or a related field; fluency in French required, English proficiency desirable. • Demonstrated strong communication, influencing, analytical and independent work skills.
