About the Role
• Read and interpret load charts • Interpret hand signals to determine where materials are to be placed • Perform minor maintenance or cleaning activities for tools and equipment • Perform daily inspections on equipment including checking fluids, refueling, adding fluids, and assessing component wear • Report malfunctioning equipment to supervisors • Prepare, fine‑tune and level surfaces to specifications • Assist other craft workers as needed

What You Bring
The Dirt and Finish Operator must be certified and capable of operating equipment such as a track hoe, rubber‑tire backhoe, front‑end loader, road grader, bulldozer, hoe ram, and Ross carrier. The employee must understand and adhere to safety hazards associated with the job and use tools and machinery safely. Work is performed in plant operations or construction jobsite environments. The position requires physical ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lb (occasionally 100 lb), climb ladders and scaffolding, and work on uneven or muddy terrain, including adverse weather and confined spaces. Operators must communicate clearly, read and write directions, and make decisions while maintaining detail‑oriented focus. They must also be able to drive various vehicles and operate hand and power tools.
