About the Role

• Implement and manage drafting and plan preparation standards • Produce and quality‑check complex technical drawings and plans • Perform multifaceted calculations as needed • Maintain drawing database and supervise CAD staff • Coordinate work activities to meet schedules and ensure quality control • Apply engineering principles and recommend design changes • Develop familiarity with Kimley‑Horn’s practices and standards

What You Bring

Our Dallas Downtown, Texas office is seeking a Civil Designer with over eight years of experience to join the Development Services team. • Minimum 8 years relevant civil design experience • High school diploma (associate degree preferred) • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley software • Ability to set up and manage printing/plotting settings • Strong work ethic, communication skills, and desire to learn • Ability to work independently and mentor team members
