About the Role

The Make Ready Assistant at The Ramsay supports residents and helps maintain the community by preparing market-ready apartments, performing exterior maintenance, and caring for common areas. Key duties include preparing apartments (painting, carpet cleaning, repairs, tile replacement), handling trash, debris, and snow removal, replacing exterior light bulbs, maintaining grounds equipment, installing signage, and keeping pools, hot tubs, dog park and other amenities clean and safe. The assistant reports maintenance concerns, attends required training, delivers resident communications, provides superior customer service, adheres to uniform standards, follows safety procedures, and performs other assigned tasks. • Prepare market-ready apartments (paint, carpet clean, repairs, drywall, tile replacement) • Remove trash, debris, and snow as needed • Replace exterior light bulbs and maintain grounds equipment • Install and remove external signage and decorations • Maintain pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities clean and safe • Report maintenance concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor • Attend required Cushman & Wakefield training programs • Deliver resident communications and provide superior customer service • Follow uniform, safety procedures, and safeguard tools and equipment

What You Bring

Required competencies are a valid driver’s license, EPA 608 certification (preferred), knowledge of hand tools, professionalism, ability to follow directions, handle emergencies and irregular hours, practice safety protocols, and be a team player who leads by example. The role requires a high school diploma, GED, or vocational training, and some related experience. Work is performed in a professional office setting with standard equipment and may require travel between properties in various weather conditions. The job demands standing, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, occasional lifting of up to 25 lb, and up to 5 % travel. • Hold a valid driver’s license; EPA 608 certification preferred • Demonstrate knowledge of hand tools and ability to handle emergencies and irregular hours • Possess a high school diploma, GED, or vocational training and related experience • Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 25 lb; travel up to 5 % of time
