About the Role

The Driver/Valet Attendant serves as the first and last point of contact for members and guests, contributing to the overall Discovery Land experience by providing courteous service and ensuring safe vehicle handling. • Greet and assist arriving and departing members and guests in a timely manner. • Park, retrieve, and manage member, guest, and customer vehicles or golf carts safely and efficiently. • Drive transit vans to transport members, VIP guests, and employees to local destinations, including the airport. • Perform vehicle inspections (tires, brakes, lights, fluids) and maintain clean transportation shuttles and company vehicles. • Prepare and submit reports on passenger trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and hours worked. • Follow all traffic laws, departmental policies, and written/verbal directions while operating light and heavy passenger vans and buses. • Provide member assistance such as directions, baggage handling, and wheelchair loading/unloading. • Maintain orderly parking areas and handle deliveries, pickups, and other errands as needed. • Monitor and uphold staff transportation schedules.

What You Bring

The role requires the ability to work flexible, extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to meet the physical demands of indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions while collaborating effectively with team members. • Valid U.S. driver’s license or international equivalent and a driving record meeting the club’s insurance requirements. • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent with at least six months of guest‑service experience in a high‑volume environment. • Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift items up to 50 lb for periods longer than eight hours, working in all weather conditions. • Ability to work flexible schedules, including long shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
