About the Role
As a Building Enclosure Associate I on the Southeast Facilities team in Nashville, you will work on inspections, testing, assessments, and commissioning of building enclosures for existing structures. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality consulting solutions to a diverse range of facilities and clients. • Conduct field and laboratory testing of building enclosures. • Perform inspections, assessments, and commissioning for existing structures. • Prepare reports, proposals, and project documentation. • Assist senior staff on various consulting projects. • Schedule and oversee facilities technicians. • Ensure workplace safety and proper PPE usage. • Lead technically complex, high‑visibility projects. • Collaborate within a national team of 180+ experts.

What You Bring
The Facilities Associate I role is designed for a natural leader with a strong work ethic who can quickly learn facilities consulting. You may have experience in pre‑construction surveys, site photography, and report generation, and you possess excellent communication skills and a proactive, "can do" attitude. This position offers ample opportunities for career growth within the company. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, with a B.Arch/M.Arch (NCARB) or BS in Engineering/Building Science preferred. Candidates need 0–2 years of relevant building facilities consulting experience, or alternatively four years as an ECS Facilities Staff Associate combined with appropriate certifications. Professional and facilities certifications are required or preferred according to the Technician Certification and Pay Policy. • High School Diploma or GED required; B.Arch/M.Arch (NCARB) or BS Engineering preferred. • 0–2 years of building facilities consulting experience. • Alternative qualification: 4 years as ECS Facilities Staff or equivalent experience, certification, and education. • Experience with non‑destructive testing is a plus. • Professional certifications (e.g., NRCA/IIBEC, AWCI Certified EIFS Inspector) preferred.
