About the Role
The role involves supporting real client projects by creating engineering and construction drawings using MicroStation or AutoCAD. You will perform basic engineering calculations, input data into analysis software, and participate in field assignments such as roadway inspections. These tasks help advance project deliverables across multiple phases. Interns also contribute by reviewing drawings, proofreading reports, and providing general engineering support tasks throughout the project lifecycle. What You Bring
Candidates must be currently enrolled in an ABET‑accredited undergraduate or graduate civil engineering (or related) program and demonstrate interest or prior experience in roadway and highway engineering. Basic proficiency in CAD, spreadsheets, interpreting design drawings, and technical writing is required, along with strong verbal and written communication skills. Preferred qualifications include working proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation and experience using engineering analysis and design tools like Civil 3D and HEC‑RAS.
