About the Role
With general direction, this role performs a variety of routine and non‑routine moderately complex billing functions to ensure accurate and timely bills are prepared for customers based on service contract terms. The position focuses on maintaining billing integrity and supporting related financial activities. Following standard operating procedures, the employee prepares monthly billing adjustments, obtains required approvals, and enters adjustments into the billing system. They research and resolve routine and non‑routine billing questions, determine appropriate adjustment codes, and review invoices for completeness and accuracy. The role also follows up with customers or internal staff to resolve discrepancies, may calculate manual billings for complex arrangements, and gathers supplemental information to meet customer requirements. Additionally, the employee reviews system reports for discrepancies, posts cash receipts, processes credit‑card and recurring payments, and provides training and support to less‑experienced personnel.

What You Bring
Candidates must have direct experience working with customers in a billing function within a service‑based industry and possess a thorough understanding of billing transactions and processes. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for accurate billing. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a minimum of eighteen months of related billing experience. The pay range is $22.40 to $30.80 per hour, varying by locality.
