About the Role
The estimator will organize, plan, and schedule estimate preparation, lead meetings, and assign work while ensuring estimates are complete and reliable. Responsibilities include developing trade partner strategies, managing bid invitations and BIM documents, conducting quantity surveys, analyzing site logistics, and using cost history to inform pricing. They will also meet company margin goals, present margin plans, provide cost modeling and value analysis, oversee self‑performed work scopes, and foster relationships with operations, design partners, trade partners, and owners. • Organize and schedule estimate preparation, leading meetings and assigning work. • Ensure estimates are complete, reliable, and incorporate all relevant data. • Develop trade partner strategies, issue bid invitations, and obtain BIM documents. • Conduct quantity surveys, assess site logistics, and use cost history for pricing. • Meet company margin goals, prepare margin plans, and manage bid presentations. • Provide cost modeling, value analysis, target value delivery, and support design teams. • Oversee self‑performed work scopes and ensure accurate pricing. • Build and maintain relationships with operations, design partners, trade partners, and owners. • Participate in group estimating meetings, mentor junior estimators, and drive initiative involvement.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold an associate or bachelor’s degree in Estimating, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field and have at least six years of construction industry experience. The role requires strong analytical abilities, familiarity with estimating software and BIM, proven leadership of estimator teams, and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication, customer service, and the ability to travel up to 20% are also essential, along with knowledge of construction law and productivity standards. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position, and candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
