About the Role

The role focuses on TEMPEST engineering for the defense and intelligence community. You will work with TEMPEST engineers and subject matter experts to perform testing, provide engineering recommendations, and ensure the security of national systems while being integrated onsite with the customer team. Key responsibilities include defining TEMPEST testing requirements with the customer's Certified TEMPEST Technical Authority, evaluating engineering change proposals for impact on TEMPEST integrity, conducting lab and field testing of cryptographic devices, and offering SME support when vulnerabilities are discovered. • Perform TEMPEST testing on cryptographic devices to ensure compliance with national standards. • Evaluate engineering change proposals for potential impact on TEMPEST integrity and coordinate recertification as needed. • Attend technical meetings with customers, CSCMs, and vendor partners to define testing requirements. • Conduct field testing to identify vulnerabilities in secure systems and provide remediation guidance. • Serve as a subject matter expert for TEMPEST vulnerabilities in cryptographic equipment. • Collaborate onsite with customer teams to integrate TEMPEST solutions and support mission success.

What You Bring

Applicants must hold a Certified TEMPEST Professional Level II (CTP‑II) certification, have at least three years of TEMPEST testing or manufacturing experience, and possess an active Top Secret SCI clearance with polygraph. Military or intelligence‑community experience in a technical or RF field is preferred. • Maintain CTP‑II certification and leverage 3+ years of TEMPEST testing or manufacturing experience. • Hold an active Top Secret SCI clearance with polygraph eligibility.
