About the Role
Assemblers are responsible for assembling pre‑ and sub‑assembly components, performing ground‑bond testing, and packing completed electrical systems. Work is carried out with hand tools and PIV equipment and must meet the codes and standards of the assigned work cell. Assemblers actively participate in daily toolbox meetings and support shop‑floor management activities such as Tier 1, QCPC, 5S, and Material Review Board processes, while also completing Level I on‑the‑job training and cross‑training for Level II assembly tasks. • Assemble mechanical components according to MTS or OFS work instructions. • Use PIV equipment for crating and packing of assemblies. • Perform basic rework to correct identified defects. • Apply shop‑floor management tools to promote Tier 1, 5S, and cross‑training. • Participate in Level I on‑the‑job training and Level II cross‑training programs. • Report turnbacks and document assembly defects or supplier failures. • Utilize computer applications and product documentation to ensure compliance. • Communicate effectively to prevent defects and support continuous improvement. • Train coworkers on product configurations and share knowledge across stations.

What You Bring
The role requires proficiency in reading blueprints, using the Manufacturing Tracking System (MTS) and On‑Floor Sheets (OFS), and collaborating with Quality to drive continuous improvement through defect reporting and resolution. • Read, write, and perform basic math calculations for production tasks.
