About the Role

The FAB Machine Operator performs technical fabrication operations on raw materials throughout the Fabrication Department using metal processing machinery. The role involves interpreting work orders, operating equipment, and ensuring the quality of produced parts. • Observe all safety rules and hygiene regulations • Receive work assignments, oral or written instructions from Supervisor • Perform initial set-up for operation on PLC, Analog, or Manual controlled machines • Operate equipment/machinery to produce parts • Interpret work orders including written, Kanban cards, and drawings • Complete necessary paperwork and system transactions • Maintain tools, equipment, and materials for continuous operation • Inspect final component against work specifications • Perform necessary operator maintenance on machining and fabrication equipment • Report abnormal situations and submit maintenance work orders to maintain equipment

Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the Arden, NC facility; no relocation assistance is offered. Active‑duty military service members are exempt from the geographic restriction. • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution • Experience reading calipers, protractors and tape measures • Able to lift 35 pounds (waist, shoulder, overhead) • Proven history of safe work habits and good attendance • Ability to work effectively without direct supervision • Computer skills – Microsoft Office, Internet (JOE), etc. • Availability to work overtime – weekdays and weekends
