About the Role

The Aerial Foreman supports all phases of utility construction on telecom projects, ensuring work is performed correctly and efficiently. The role involves installing and repairing aerial CATV, coaxial, and fiber cable, placing and relocating poles and wires, and setting up safety perimeters on‑site. You will review project plans, direct crew activities, maintain documentation, and coordinate with supervisors and managers. • Install and repair aerial CATV, coaxial, and fiber cable. • Place, relocate, and remove poles, lines, and open‑wire, and secure drop and block wire. • Set up safety perimeters using signage, cones, and barriers. • Review project plans, specifications, and installation instructions for compliance. • Direct on‑site crew activities and act as lead for in‑house teams. • Complete required documentation, track crew time, and manage daily schedules. • Coordinate with the Area Supervisor or Manager throughout the project. • Oversee delivery schedules and monitor daily productivity of the aerial crew.

What You Bring

Successful candidates have at least three years of telecommunications construction experience and a strong record of quality work. They are comfortable working in bucket trucks, climbing poles, and handling equipment such as digger Derek trucks, and they hold OSHA 10, CPR, and flagging certifications. Leadership, problem‑solving, and a commitment to safety are essential, along with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and in all weather conditions. • Minimum 3 + years experience in telecommunications construction. • Proficient in coax and fiber splicing, directional drilling, and aerial/underground construction. • Certified OSHA 10, CPR, and flagging; knowledge of OSHA safety requirements. • Ability to operate a bucket truck, climb poles up to 35 ft, lift up to 70 lb, and operate a digger Derek truck. • Strong problem‑solving skills, hands‑on work style, and ability to work under pressure. • Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities. • Flexible to work on‑call, evenings, weekends, and in all weather conditions.
