About the Role
The Sales Manager leads the planning, organization, direction, and coordination of the sales function for an assigned division. This role executes sales strategies to maximize volume, drive targeted profitable growth, and professionally develop the sales staff. Key responsibilities include creating and implementing business, sales, and marketing strategies aligned with the unit’s operating plan, developing sales forecasts, and holding accountability for meeting sales goals and budget metrics. The manager directs sales and administrative personnel, handling hiring, training, performance coaching, and conducting weekly ride‑alongs for on‑the‑job training. Additional duties involve supporting new customer solicitation, bid preparation, customer retention, regular review of sales activity via CRM, proactive account contact, pricing strategy development, market trend monitoring, and timely completion of sales reports and agreement reviews.

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least five years of experience supervising sales teams and a proven track record of developing comprehensive sales strategies. Required attributes include professional presentation, strong time and communication skills, active listening, quick learning, logical problem‑solving, self‑motivation, high energy, persuasive ability, service orientation, teamwork, and a commitment to innovation and performance accountability. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a minimum of three years of progressive sales experience with leadership responsibilities, and a valid driver’s license. Compensation ranges from $109,840 to $164,760 annually, with an annual incentive target of 25% of base salary.
