About the Role

The Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician leads a team of service technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment, supports the Operations Maintenance Team by designing solutions for complex problems, and manages related projects while training and mentoring both service and contract technicians. Key responsibilities include promoting a safe work environment, maintaining and troubleshooting conveyor systems and various control components, creating and closing work orders with detailed labor and parts data, leading preventative maintenance audits, and maintaining positive relationships across the operations facility. • Promote safety by following all procedures. • Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems and control components. • Install and repair relay logic, ladder diagrams, photo‑eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, and solenoids. • Create, assign, and close work orders with labor hours, maintenance data, and parts used. • Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures. • Mentor junior and contract technicians. • Maintain positive relationships across the operations facility.

What You Bring

Basic qualifications require a high school diploma or equivalent, over four years of experience with material handling equipment, preventative maintenance, and blueprint reading, plus experience with CMMS and PLC programming. Candidates must have demonstrated team‑lead capabilities, vendor management experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Preferred qualifications include an associate degree in a mechanical or electrical field and experience with robotic operation and maintenance. The role demands physical ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb ladders, lift up to 50 lb, and work in a warehouse environment with variable temperatures while wearing required personal protective equipment. • High school diploma or equivalent; 4+ years experience with material handling equipment and preventative maintenance. • 4+ years experience reading blueprints and schematics; 3+ years with CMMS; 2+ years with PLC programs. • Experience leading, training, and mentoring technicians; vendor management; proficiency in Microsoft Office. • Preferred: Associate degree in mechanical/electrical field; robotics operation and maintenance experience. • Physical ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb ladders, lift 50 lb, and wear required PPE.
