About the Role
In this role you will support the Operations Maintenance Team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building, and you will also install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures, complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on material handling equipment, and manage work orders with data on labor hours, parts, and equipment maintenance. Additionally you will track department inventory, mentor junior technicians, and maintain positive relationships across the Operations facility. • Promote a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures. • Perform preventative maintenance routines and document activities. • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment. • Create, assign, and close work orders, tracking labor hours, parts, and equipment maintenance. • Manage department inventory and track usage. • Mentor junior technicians to develop their skills. • Maintain positive relationships across the Operations facility.

What You Bring
The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of experience repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems, and two years of predictive and preventative maintenance experience. Candidates need at least one year of blueprint and electrical schematic reading, knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, experience with a CMMS, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. Flexibility to work varied schedules or shifts is also required. Preferred candidates hold an associate’s or higher degree in a mechanical or electrical field, have experience with MHE safety standards and robotic operation and maintenance, and can troubleshoot basic input and output functions. The role demands the ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb ladders, use an aerial lift, and frequently lift up to 50 lb, while wearing required personal protective equipment. Workers must regularly crouch or bend, travel between departments covering 6–12 mi per day, and work in fluctuating warehouse temperatures, with occasional computer use. • Require high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years MHE repair experience. • Require 2+ years predictive/preventative maintenance experience. • Must read blueprints and electrical schematics and understand electrical/electronic principles. • Experience with CMMS and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project). • Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts. • Preferred: Associate’s degree or higher in mechanical/electrical field. • Preferred: Knowledge of MHE safety standards and robotic operation/maintenance. • Physical ability to lift 50 lb, climb ladders, use aerial lift, and work in varying temperatures. • Must wear required PPE (hard hat, face shield, composite toe shoes, etc.).
