About the Role

The Sr. Capture Manager is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving strategic growth and securing major enterprise‑level pursuits within the Water Global Business line. Reporting to the Strategy and Growth lead, the role requires visionary leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to lead consultative sales processes. It involves developing winning strategies, fostering global collaboration, and ensuring operational excellence throughout the pursuit lifecycle, with flexibility for remote work and required travel. • Lead consultative sales processes to win major enterprise‑level pursuits. • Develop and execute discovery, pre‑positioning, differentiation, and delivery strategies for transformative programs. • Analyze competitive landscape and incorporate win/loss insights into pursuit strategies. • Foster multidisciplinary collaboration across regions and global teams to deliver client‑focused outcomes. • Ensure integration of technical, marketing, and bidding staff for best‑practice proposals. • Manage full sales lifecycle with quality assurance and Go/No‑Go rigor. • Partner with marketing to run strategic campaigns aligned with key opportunities. • Oversee commercial, financial, legal, and governance compliance of contracts. • Drive accountability for sales metrics and high capture rates. • Align AECOM initiatives with client priorities on sustainability, resilience, and innovation. • Build and maintain a diversified pipeline of qualified opportunities aligned with business goals. • Establish trust with client decision‑makers and internal stakeholders, including CAMs and executive leadership. • Communicate pursuit priorities clearly to executive and regional leadership. • Guide technical, bidding, and marketing teams to create compliant, compelling content. • Partner with client account managers and business line reps for geopolitical positioning. • Drive growth by capturing new and renewal business opportunities. • Champion ethical, safe practices and align AECOM actions with client initiatives. • Translate client innovation agendas into AECOM solutions and promote adoption. • Set schedules, milestones, and budgets for bid/proposal delivery. • Mentor and develop capture team members, fostering inclusive, accountable teams.
