About the Role
The Maintenance Technician provides support and is accountable for delivering on commitments to residents, including quality move‑ins, residential satisfaction, expedited service, and personal attention. This role responds to residents' service needs and is instrumental in delivering superior customer service. Key duties include preparing make‑ready apartments with painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, and general repairs; responding promptly to resident requests with a professional attitude; and possessing knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, carpentry, painting, and snow removal. The technician also maintains grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities, participates in on‑call schedules for after‑hour emergencies, reports maintenance concerns, and performs scheduled maintenance while adhering to fair‑housing laws and safety procedures. • Prepare make‑ready apartments (painting, carpet repair, cleaning, general repairs). • Respond promptly to resident service requests with a professional attitude. • Perform maintenance on plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting, and snow removal. • Maintain grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities. • Participate in on‑call schedule for after‑hour emergencies. • Report maintenance issues in vacant units, model homes, and common areas to supervisor. • Follow state, local, and federal fair‑housing laws and company safety procedures. • Attend required training programs and uphold Cushman & Wakefield uniform standards. • Work in an office environment, travel between properties, and handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 100 lb and climbing ladders.

What You Bring
Competencies required are a valid driver’s license, EPA 608 Type II certification (or local equivalent), and the ability to read manuals, compute rates and ratios, solve routine problems, follow written or oral instructions, perform basic math, and write routine reports. The role also demands adherence to all safety procedures and uniform standards. Education requirements include a high school diploma, GED, or trade/technical schooling, with at least one year of related experience. The work environment combines a professional office setting with travel between properties in varying weather, and the physical demands involve extended standing, walking, climbing ladders, lifting up to 100 lb, and up to 10% travel time. • Possess a valid driver’s license and EPA 608 Type II certification (or local equivalent). • Ability to read manuals, compute ratios, solve routine problems, and write reports. • Hold a high school diploma/GED or trade/technical education; 1+ year related experience.

Benefits
Compensation ranges from $19.55 to $23.00 per hour, supplemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, vision, dental, flexible spending accounts, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, and paid time off.
