About the Role
Job Summary: Responsible for supporting warehouse operations by performing a variety of tasks including loading, unloading, order picking, shipping, and material handling. Ensures products are accurately prepared for pickup or delivery, secured for transport, and handled in a safe, efficient, and dependable manner. Nature and Scope: Selects correct processes from clearly prescribed rules, past practices, or instruction. Seeks advice and guidance on non‑routine or problem areas from a supervisor. Deviations from the norm are cleared by the supervisor. Under close supervision, exercises limited latitude/independent judgment, with work typically involving detailed checks or close review by a senior coworker or supervisor. • Load, unload, sort, pick, stock, stage, and transport materials throughout the warehouse and yard. • Prepare items for shipment or customer pickup using shrink wrap, strapping, or other protective methods. • Verify product accuracy and condition before staging or shipping. • Install protective devices such as bracing or padding to prevent damage during transport. • Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment to move goods safely and efficiently. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures. • Assist customers, installers, or subcontractors by fulfilling orders or locating materials. • Drive company vehicles to pick up or deliver materials as needed. • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.

What You Bring
Work Environment: Typically located in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors that may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness, such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for periods exceeding 60 minutes. Requires repetitive motions such as using a 10‑key, bending, or squatting, with occasional overnight travel under 10% of the time. Education and Experience: HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. 0‑2 years of experience in the area of responsibility. • Understand basic shipping, receiving, and material handling procedures. • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. • Possess physical ability to lift and move heavy materials.
